  3. IMPROVEMENTS:

  5. Santa Saver now features full sound card support with a
  6. beautiful rendition of the them from "Ice Castles."  Along
  7. with this a few of the previous bugs in version 2.0 were
  8. fixed and you can customize it by being able to type
  9. in your own message(up to 34 characters long).  This
  10. messsage will actually show up in the screensaver itself!!

  13. CONTENTS:

  15. This is a module of the Santa-Saver screen saver.  It is run using
  16. the Windows desktop screensaver accessed from the Control Panel.  
  17. Santa flies across the screen in his sleigh and reindeer with him
  18. on his flight. Included are:
  19.  
  20.      README.TXT   - This file contains description and installation 
  21.                     instructions.
  22.      SANTA.SCR    - Windows screensaver
  23.  
  24.      JINGLEBL.WAV - Windows sound file.
  25.  
  26.      ICECASTL.MID - Windows midi file
  27.  
  28.      XMAS.SVR     - Windows screensaver storage file.
  29.  
  30.      And a few other files . . .

  32. SHAREWARE NOTICE:

  34.     This program is shareware.  If you would like
  35.     to keep it please register it for a small fee
  36.     of two dollars.  It would greatly encourage me,
  37.     as the author, to create more programs.

  41. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
  42.  
  43.     1. Run the setup.exe and it should install everything for you
  44.  
  45. Next you need to tell Windows to run it. From the Windows, 
  46. click on the Main Icon. Then click on the Control Panel Icon.
  47. When the Dialog box appears,  select "Santa-Saver" from the list of 
  48. screen savers. This is done by moving down to the screen saver 
  49. section and clicking on the down arrow on the right side of the 
  50. "Name" list box. Once the list appears move the cursor to "Santa-Saver"
  51. and click on it.  The Setup button allows you to adjust the speed
  52. at which the Santa glides along the ground.  It also allows you to 
  53. turn the sound ON or OFF at your will.

  55. SANTA-SAVER OVERVIEW:
  56.  
  57. SANTA-SAVER displays good Saint Nicholas as he flies across
  58. your screen in order to deliver presents.  This screensaver
  59. is truly a spectacular sight to see.  Along with this it
  60. includes the 9 reindeer that pull Santa along his way . . .
  61. Rudolph included.  Having this screensaver is a great way
  62. to celebrate the holidays and at the same time prevent
  63. costly phosper burn.
